Aims and Objectives

It objectives to foster and facilitate high intellectual, scholarly, and meaningful pursuits for its faculty and students. It recognizes, too, the invaluable contribution and enrichment gained from collaboration with colleagues within and outside of the school and endeavors to create meaningful, lasting relationships that will serve the society.

It is committed to excellence in all its pursuits. Its goals are to:
1) create an atmosphere of learning and inquiry within the discipline of social and
    administrative pharmacy that builds upon the strengths and attributes of its staffs
    and students.
2) foster research, education, and service initiatives that reflect and respond to the
    increasing needs of the profession of pharmacy and the health outcomes of society.
3) educate and nurture interest among undergraduate pharmacy students in the social
    and administrative sciences with the ability to translate that knowledge and skill
    development to the practice of pharmacy and the benefit of a diverse Malaysian
    society.
4) educate graduate students within the social and administrative sciences and
    pedagogy.
5) establish research directives that nurture and promote the discovery, integration,
    application and learning.
6) partner in collaborative research of an intradisciplinary and/or interdisciplinary nature.
7) disseminate knowledge with the goal of encouraging the safe, cost-effective, and
    rational use of pharmaceutical products and services, and influencing health policies
    that benefit society.
