It aims to cater for the professional needs and interests of educators in Malaysia and other countries. This journal solicits articles that contribute towards the achievement of the following aims and objectives:

  • To stimulate discussion on educational issues and problems
  • To offer ideas on teaching and learning in schools
  • To contribute towards the solution of educational problems encountered in schools and higher learning institutions  
  • To disseminate information on educational events and opportunities available to teachers and teacher educators

Notes for Contributors
  1. Two clear copies of the manuscript with diskette (in Microsoft Word) should be submitted, typed double-space on one side of A4 size paper. The manuscript should not exceed 5,000 words.
     

  2. Synopsis/abstract in bahasa Malaysia and English should accompany every manuscript in English and vice versa. It should not exceed 300 words. The synopsis/abstract in both languages should discuss the same matter.
     

  3. Tables, figures, etc., should be kept to a minimum. They should be in the form that are to appear in the journal.
     

  4. Reference should be indicated in the manuscript by giving the author's name, with the year of publication in parentheses. If several papers by the same author and from the same year are cited - a, b, c, etc., should be put after the year of publication. The references should be listed in full a the end of the paper in the following standard form:
     
      Books :
      Scott, P. (1984). The crisis of the university. London: Croom Helm.
     
      Articles :
      Cremin, L. A. (1983). The problematics of education in the 1980s: Some reflections on the Oxford Workshop. Oxford Review of Education, 9, 33 - 40.
     
      Chapters taken from book :
      Willis, P. (1983). Cultural production and theories of reproduction. In L. Barton and S. Walker (eds.). Race, class and education. London: Croom Helm.

    Title of journals should not be abbreviated.
     

  5. Proofs will be sent to authors if there is sufficient time to do so. They should be corrected and returned to the Chief Editor within three (3) days. Major alterations to the text cannot be accepted.
     

  6. Author(s) of article accepted for publication will receive one (1) complimentary copy of the issue in which the article appears.
