MJM is now in	Malaysian Journal of Microbiology (MJM) accepts reports of original research concerning both the basic and applied fields of microbiology. Although MJM is the official journal of the Malaysian Society for Microbiology (MSM) membership in the society is not a prerequisite for submission of manuscripts. All authors of a manuscript must have agreed to its submission and are responsible for its content. The corresponding author is responsible for obtaining such agreements. Submitted manuscripts should not be considered for publication elsewhere throughout the review process. The Editors reserve the right to reject manuscripts that do not conform to the aims and scope of this journal. MJM aims to advance and disseminate new information on various aspects of microbiology. Nevertheless, authors, editors and publisher do not warrant the information contained therein to be free of errors. Readers are advised to keep in mind that statements, data, procedural details or other items may inadvertently be inaccurate. Authors are strongly encouraged to make available their research materials such as microorganisms, viruses, plasmids etc. to members of the scientific community for noncommercial purposes.
