About CoRIC
Introduction
CoRIC is a new competition category introduced under the NRIC 2011. CoRIC stands for Community Research and Innovation Competition. CoRIC is initiated to engage research and technology to community. The ultimate aim is to educate and prepare students to pitch their research idea and innovation that can be commercialized and valuable towards the industries, societies and mankind.

Form a team (2-4 student and 1 mentor)

Submit the registration form by email with a 1-page Executive Summary by 1 June 2011

On the event day, each team will have 2 minutes to make their pitch (verbal presentation only).

Each institution of higher learning can ONLY register for one team.
- Each team must consist of both art and science students (multi-disciplinary), with a maximum of 4 students (minimum 2 students) and 1 mentor
- Idea must be the original work of students.
- No product is required; each team ONLY delivers a verbal presentation to convince the judges that their idea can be commercialized.
- Each team will have 2 minutes to present their idea
- The entire pitch must be made by one person, and no props are allowed in the presentation.
- The Judging Panel reserves the right to disqualify any entry.
