The Division of Industry & Community Network with the support of selected Schools/Centres/Research Clusters has packaged a number of short-term courses to meet the multifarious demands for staff training, skills development and retooling objectives of the industrial sector particularly SMIs/SMEs. Individual members of the public who may be interested in any of the short courses are most welcome to apply.

The short courses are scheduled to be held between mid to end 2008. Please proceed to the tool bar and click Courses to view the course synopsis, tentative date, fee and other details. When you have decided on the course of your choice, please click Registration and complete the proforma. We advise you to read carefully the instructions/rules pertaining to Registration and payment of course fee before submitting the form.

1 Course Venue
Courses are offered at USM Main Campus, Minden Heights, 11800 USM, Penang unless otherwise stated in the Course Synopsis details.

2 Call Centre
Having the public’s interest and convenience in mind, USM is setting-up a Call Centre to assist interested parties who may require further clarification regarding the courses especially registration procedures. The centre will operate like a frontline infodesk as follows:

4 Language of Instruction
If the course titles and synopsis are written in Bahasa Malaysia, the course is conducted in that language, otherwise it is in English.

5 Certificate
Certificates of Participation will be awarded to participants of the Short Term Courses.
