About the Conference
Sustainable Economic Development is achievable through the overlapping dimension on the issues of sustainability and economic development. Sustainability is the relationship between economic activity and the use of natural resources in the production process and its impact on the lifestyle of the community and society. It aims to achieve the rational use of natural resources with the ability to maintain a certain status or process in existing system. Economic Development is a process that increases the gross national product and productivity. It leads to changes in the economic and social structures and aims to the innovation of new technical methods of production. Sustainable Economic Development concentrates on the three themes of sustainable development that are environment, society and economy. It can be thought of in terms of policies and programmes designed to meet the needs of present generations without compromising the ability of the future generations to meet their own needs.
 
Objectives
1. To provide an interdisciplinary forum on the policies and strategies related to the sustainable economic development for academics and practitioners.
2. To propose multidisciplinary strategies for economic, sociopolitical, cultural, and institutional changes to achieve sustainable economic development.
3. To discuss the practical challenges faced in promoting sustainable economic development
