CALL FOR PAPERS and POSTER PRESENTATIONS

 
The organizing committee invites you to submit an abstract for presentation (papers and posters) at the 19th Asia-Pacific Social Work Conference. The final paper should be prepared according to the following guidelines.

Papers

  1. Accepted papers will be presented in concurrent sessions, a maximum of 3-4* related papers will be presented in each session.
     

  2. The abstract should include i) purpose of study ii) major issues and problems, and iii) conclusion. Maximum 200words.

    • All abstracts must be received by the secretariat latest by 30th Apr. 2007 

    • Notification of abstracts will be sent to all primary authors by 15th May 2007
       

  3. Papers must be:

    • an original work which have not been previously published

    • no limit on co-authorship

    • send attachment in Microsoft Word, double spacing with size 12 font

    • final paper can also be submitted by airmail in a disc/pen-drive

    • due date no later then 31st July 2007

    Along with your paper, please include the following information:

    • A brief resume about yourself – name, designation, institution
       

  4. Registration for presenters

    • All presenters are expected to pay and register for the Conference by 18th August 2007

Poster Presentations

Poster presentations are primarily designed to highlight practical experiences, research reports or even theories related to the main theme of the conference. Presenters will present a brief overview or a summary for 5 minutes (at pre-established times) and then answer questions or respond to comments from the audience. Posters will be displayed within the venue early in the morning for participants and delegates to review (prior to the presentation time). Such posters will remain in place until the end of the day.
