Short courses on analytical instrumentation in general and chromatographic methods in particular have been conducted for interested parties.

Services in the form of consultation and analytical services using various analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, FT-IR, SEM-EDAX, AAS are also provided to various clients. Some of the reports are as follows:

1) "Plelimanary environmental impact assessment on proposed quarry blasting for land reclaimation, Pulau Jerejak", 1994 - EIA team member.

4) "Determination of source of contamination on lead frame surfaces" for AMD Sdn. Bhd., May 1996.

5) "Testing of Jojoba-based lubricant oil" for Pearl Jojoba Sdn. Bhd., June 1996.

6) "Troubleshooting of blister and solderability failure of PL68 after 150degrees C" for AMD Sdn. Bhd., July 1996.

7) "Ionic contamination on disc and container surfaces", Akashic Kubota Tech. Sdn. Bhd., August 1997.

8) "Method development for the prediction of printing quality on surfaces of audio components", Robert Bosch (M) Sdn. Bhd., June 1997.

9) "Chemical resistance evaluation on gloves", Allegiance Healthcare Sdn. Bhd., September 1997.

10) Chemical resistance evaluation of various test chemicals on gloves (natural rubber and synthetic) for a few glove manufacturers.
