What is Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)?

- 1) USR is a concept the university takes that includes all necessary steps to improve quality of life for all its employees and their families, students, faculty, and the local community as well as society by focusing on its three main bottom lines such as research of education, society and environment.
- 2) USR is about the activities done by university to create awareness among people which may also include those related to environment.
- 3) USR is about the university’s commitment in making a positive, distinctive and measurable impact on society such as :
-To provide benefits to public through education and research
-To actively disseminate knowledge and expertise
-To maintain high ethical standards
-To promote and practice environmental sustainability
-To act as a good corporate citizen, generating enthusiasm, pride and partnership to communities and stakeholders.
