1. The 12th
National Conference on Medical Sciences is now renamed as International Medical
and Health Congress 2007. This conference will be co-organized by Universiti
Sains Malaysia Health Campus in Kota Bharu together with Institutes of Advanced
Medicine and Dentistry and School of Pharmacy from the Main Campus in Penang. The
date of the Congress is 25-27th of May 2007. The closing date to submit papers
is 27th Feb 2007 The theme for this Congress is ‘health IS sustainable
development’. The areas covered are: pharmacotherapeutics, molecular
medicine, clinical medicine, applied biomaterials, oncology, basic medical
sciences and bio-informatics.
2. The International Union
Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (IUATLD)(Asia-Pacific region) will hold
its 1st Regional conference from
2nd-5th Aug 2007 @
Shangri-La Hotel, KL.
This conference is organised by The Malaysian Association for the Prevention
of TB (MAPTB), in collaboration with MOH and Malaysian Thoracic Society.
