Launching of the ABCD Learner Club

The ABCD Learners Club (Adults, Babies, and Children with Learning Difficulties)
is a community-based support group established at Universiti Sains Malaysia.
There is no membership fee or requirement, just email

become a member. The Club will operate both as physical support group
with site meetings on-campus as well as a
virtual group
Objectives
1. To provide a community-based support group for members of the university
and surrounding community.
2. To conduct relevant researches in helping individuals (adults, children)
with learning disorders overcome their challenges and cope with day
to day living.
3. To empower individuals (parents, teachers, public) via support groups
understand how people with special needs learn and be trained with skills
to help these people (e.g. using Brain Trainer equipment).
4. To share and highlight the results of relevant brain-based research
journals with the community.
Membership and Structure
The ABCD Learners Club is open to anyone from the university and surrounding
community. You are welcome to join any one of the following support
groups: Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Delayed Development, and Down Syndrome.
These support groups are member driven and supported by the Human Development
Lab as the Secretariat.
