In this on-line system, all full-time students must register their courses once in every semester. Registration will be carried out before the commencement of a semester to ensure that the studies start on the very first day of a semester.

    • Course Registration Activity
Registration for the various courses in the university including languages and co- curriculum is conducted centrally by the respective schools, before the commencement of a semester, and all students will then be given a registration slip. This slip must be shown to the respective Academic Advisor/Panel together with the completely filled Course Registration Form (DAFTALIAN) to be signed before a student is allowed to register the course.

    • Course List and Teaching Time-Table
Course list and teaching time-table are prepared by the school and is made available during registration time so that the students can choose and then register the courses. Students are not allowed to register courses that "overlap" with the teaching time-table.

    • Classification of Courses
Students are allowed to register any course if they fulfill the prerequisites of the course. Courses registered in the programme are divided as follows:-
    	A	-	Basic
    	T	-	Core
    	M	-	Minor
    	P	-	Elective
    	V	-	University/Option
    • Maximum/Minimum Units Registered

No student is allowed to register less than 12 units and more than 22 units in a normal semester.

All courses registered will be taken into consideration for graduation.

A student who repeats a course (which he had failed before) will be allowed to register an additional course for any semester as long as he obtains the Dean's permission to do so.

A student who opts for co-curriculum is allowed to register one unit more than the maximum units per semester.

A student is allowed to register less than the minimum units if he has exceeded the minimum period of candidature.

Note: It is compulsory for students who wish to register more than the maximum unit to obtain the Dean/Deputy Dean's permissions.

    • Adding/Dropping Courses

This is not allowed after the activity of course registration has completed. However, a student may drop a particular course up to the 9th week (3rd week for supplementary semester) provided permission is given by the lecturer concerned and the Dean/Deputy Dean's. After the 9th week, a student is disallowed from dropping any course.

Course registration is a final and official process. Therefore, any error pertaining to the codes of the various types of courses will be the responsibility of the students themselves.

    • Record Updating

Students who found errors in any of the following documents such as Registration form, CANGRED or computer print out, can update the documents by using the appropriate forms, and also inform the Dean's office immediately.
