:: Submission Guidelines

Publication Policies

Articles that can be considered for publication include evaluation reviews of literature, definitive articles on methodology and procedures, quantitative and qualitative approaches to theory and empirical articles reporting original research are considered for publication. New techniques, methods, aspects of practical implementation, and industrial or technical approaches can also be considered for the Journal.

All contributions will be read by at least 3 referees to ensure material originality, accuracy and relevance. Contributions are subject to editorial amendment to suit house styles. The Journal does not accept contributions that have been published elsewhere or submitted elsewhere for review.

Manuscripts should be prepared according to the following style rules. Failure to comply these rules will cause delay in publication.

Manuscript Submission Guidelines

NOTE: Effective August 1, 2009, all new manuscripts are handled by the new online electronic manuscript processing system called Manuscript Central at http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/jcdc.

Download the Guidelines for Authors here.

The electronic version of the journal is available at http://web.usm.my/jcdc/index.html.

Publication

Early View

Manuscripts that have been accepted for publication will be uploaded on the journal’s website. This will occur in advance of the cover date of the published issue. Authors should take this into account when planning their intellectual and patent activities related to a manuscript.

Proof

Proof will be sent to corresponding authors via email as a PDF file. It is therefore essential that all submissions contain the e-mail address of the corresponding author. To avoid delays in publication, proof should be checked immediately for typographical errors and returned as instructed in the proof e-mail.

Offprints

Author can retrieve their published article from the journal’s website.
