OBJECTIVES OF WIF FOR 2007

WIF aims to be a platform for great minds from all over the world for one noble cause with these objectives in mind:

• to provide opportunities for PECIPTA and also local higher learning institutions to promote their innovations internationally

• to host WIF Conference where the inaugural WIF was held in the Netherlands in 2006

• to exhibit R&D products from abroad as an additional element in PECIPTA 

• to promote the concept of innovation among local higher learning institutions by highlighting related issues and current topics

• to connect the local innovators to international networks

The forum will discuss the latest issues on technological, sociological and research trends in innovating for sustainable development, with expert guidance from an international panel of speakers and chairpersons. The 5 core theme of the forum will be:
