SYARAT UMUM
- Setiap sekolah hanya dibenarkan untuk menghantar maksimum SATU PENYERTAAN SAHAJA
- Setiap kumpulan terdiri daripada tiga orang pelajar sahaja bersama seorang guru pengiring.
- Borang penyertaan dan syarat penyertaan boleh didapati melalui laman sesawang NRIC2017 dibawah sub-program IPC2017.
- Sila isi borang penyertaan dengan lengkap (Lampiran A+B+C) .
- Sila lampirkan abstrak setiap produk atau idea dengan hanya SATU MUKA surat.
- Abstrak mestilah DITAIP dan DIHANTAR ke emel : ipcnric2017@gmail.com.
- Saringan pertama akan dijalankan di peringkat USM sekitar bulan Julai. Sekolah yang berjaya atau tidak berjaya ke peringkat akhir akan dimaklumkan melalui surat atau emel.
- Setiap pasukan dikenakan bayaran sebanyak RM 35 dan bayaran perlu dilunaskan sebelum tarikh tutup penyertaan. Sekolah yang menarik diri selepas tarikh tutup penyertaan, duit penyertaan tidak akan dipulangkan.
- Pertandingan akhir akan diadakan pada 17 Ogos 2017 (Khamis) bertempat di Dewan Utama Pelajar (DUP), USM.
- Pihak universiti akan menyediakan makanan untuk peserta dan guru pengiring sahaja.
- Penyertaan dan persembahan boleh dihantar dalam Bahasa Malaysia ATAU Bahasa Inggeris.
- Setiap projek yang bertanding mestilah tidak pernah memenangi sebarang pertandingan sebelum ini.
- Persembahan boleh dibuat dalam bentuk produk/ slaid/ risalah/ poster dan lain- lain.
FORMAT PERTANDINGAN
- 10+5 (10 minit diberikan untuk pembentangan, 5 minit untuk sesi soal jawab bersama hakim). Jumlah masa yang diberikan ialah 15 minit.
- Masa akan bermula sebaik sahaja peserta memulakan pembentangan.
- Loceng pertama dibunyikan sebanyak satu kali sebaik sahaja 8 minit masa pembentangan.
- Manakala loceng kedua akan dibunyikan sebanyak dua kali apabila tempoh 10 minit berakhir .
- Markah akan ditolak selepas loceng kedua dibunyikan.
- Keputusan panel hakim adalah muktamad. Sebarang rayuan atau bantahan tidak akan dilayan.

Innovation Pitch Challenge 2017 Competition
About IPC
Innovation Pitch Challenge (IPC) is a competition which focuses mainly on the presentation of methods and theories by secondary school students. This includes creativity and innovative ideas among students on the topic of science, technology and innovation. The theme of IPC 2017 is “Decrypting the Complexity through Innovation.”
This academic-based competition aims to provide wider exposure on science and technology field to secondary school students. IPC was first introduced in theyear 2013. IPC 2013, there were participants from two respective schools while the number of participants increase to a total of 10 schools in 2014. From year to year, the total participation has shown a positively increase and it reaches a total participation of 18 schools in 2016.
For the time being, we are looking forward to receive great yet positive feedbacks from the northern zone secondary schools all over Malaysia to take part in IPC 20117 and there will be limited places provided. May the best of the best wins!
