Symposium

An event to expose the participants to the current issues of pharmacy field whereby heavyweight speakers, pharmacy educators and industrial guests will be discussing some issues and topics with the participants. Students can build on ideas and developments presented in the session as group presentations will be carried out later. It also serves as a platform for students to deliver questions on material presented and subject matter discussed in the symposium.  We will have at least 3 educational symposiums in the APPS 2009.

Workshop and Games

Participants will be separated into groups to discuss about some issues related to the pharmacy profession and public health problems. Workshops are scheduled at the conclusion of the symposium which provide a platform for students to voice their opinions. All delegates will be joining a mini workshop and have games at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences compound - a warm and educational ice-breaking session!
