Dear participants of APPS 2009, we are glad to inform you that there will be a Scientific Poster Presentation during event. Therefore, all APPS participants are encouraged to share your ideas and findings in making this symposium a success!

 

Details:

Topic: Anything related to pharmacy profession.
 
Number of people in a group:  5 people
 
Maximum poster to be sent per group: 2
 
Size of poster: A1 (23.4 inches × 33.1 inches or 594mm × 841mm)

Language: English

Your poster should contain:
-       Title of poster and names of team members
-       Abstract
-       Introduction
-       Methodology
-       Results
-       Discussion (where applicable)
-       Conclusion
-       References

 

Rules And Regulations

1. Each country that is participating in APPS is required to send AT LEAST ONE GROUP per country.
2. Each poster entry must comply to the format mentioned above (refer to DETAILS section)
3. All work submitted must be original work. Plagiarism will not be tolerated.
4. Send in your abstract (typewritten in Microsoft Word and saved as doc. file) via attachment in email to apps.poster.presentation@gmail.com by 20th May 2009.
5. Not all posters will be chosen. Shortlisted entries will be announced on website and notified via email.
6. Upon notification, the shortlisted groups should print their poster before APPS and submit the poster to the Reception Committee upon arrival during reception (Day 0)
7. The shortlisted groups are only allow to withdraw from the competition latest by 31th May 2009 provided that they had valid reasons and notified the secretariat via email (apps.poster.presentation@gmail.com)
8. A softcopy of the poster presentation in a CD (as backup) should also be submitted to the reception committee upon arrival during reception.
9. Each group will have to present their poster during Day 1 of APPS.
10. The best poster presentation will be selected via voting system by all APPS participants.

How to register:

Just send in your abstract (typewritten in Microsoft Word and saved as doc. file) via attachment in email to apps.poster.presentation@gmail.com by 20th May 2009.
The abstract should include the following:

1. Title
2. Author(s)
3. Introduction
4. Method
5. Results
6. Discussion
7. Conclusion

It should be written in Times New Roman, font size 12.

At the end of the abstract, please include your contact person name and email, so that we can notify you.
