Things to bring for APPS participants:
1.     Passport (for international participants)
2.     Some Malaysian Ringgit to for emergency use. (around RM300)
3.     Handphone & charger
4.     Stationery (pens, notebooks, etc)
5.     Materials for video contest or scientific poster presentation for shortlisted contestants
6.     1 science or health related English book with minimum 20 pages (as donation to the orphanage during community service.)
7.     Toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, towel, deodorant, etc.)
8.     1 red T-shirt for Cultural Visit (compulsory)
9.     1 set of formal clothes on Day 1:

a.      Guys –
                               i.       Tie
                               ii.       long-sleeves shirt
                               iii.       slack pants
                               iv.       leather shoes
                               v.      jacket (optional)
b..     Girls –
                               i.      blouse
                               ii.      slack pants or skirt (skirt length must cover your knees)

10.   At least 3 sets of Smart Casual outfits:

                                ii.       T-shirt with sleeves (singlet/tank top is not allowed)

11.   1 set of traditional costume of your country for the Global Village Night
12.   1 set of dinner outfit which matches the theme (skyblue and white) for the Gala Night.
