Post Symposium Tour

Day 1 (1st July 2009)
We will depart from Penang early in the morning to Kuala Lumpur by bus. The first day will be all about the city of Kuala Lumpur!

 

 

  • Petronas Towers ?It is one of the world's tallest twin tower structures, located in the heart of the capital city. You can see the Petronas Towers almost everywhere in the city. At the feet of the Petronas Towers is the trendy shopping mall  "Suria KLCC". The crown of the Kuala Lumpur is an attraction for tourist for shopping and sight seeing.

Central Market Virtual Tour

  • Central Market - It's an old building (1928), that has won awards for its architectural design. It is well known with its wide variety of Malaysian Arts and Handicrafts, Batek, Antiques and attractive souvenirs. Everything that your heart desires is available here. All at reasonable prices.

  • Petaling Street ?Petaling Street is the centre of Kuala Lumpur's original Chinatown. It is a place that never sleeps. The area attracts many locals and visitors in search of great bargain items. If you're looking for cheap clothes, fabrics, souvenirs, electronic items, watches, DVDs, CDs and more, then Petaling Street is the place for you. So people, start practice on bargaining now!

Bintang walk

  • Bintang Walk - You will get the taste of KL night life as we take you to one of the hippest streets in the city. At night, Bintang Walk truly comes alive when live jazz music is played and the whole place is beautifully lit-up. You will be spellbound to see the colourful and dazzling array of lights in this area . The Bintang Walk is one of the most famous shopping centres in Malaysia as it is a colorful and vibrant row of street-side cafes, restaurants and pubs.

Day 2 (2nd July 2009)

On the second day, we will leave Kuala Lumpur and leave for Genting Highlands, the City of Entertainment!. On this day, it will be all about fun. So, just let your hair loose and enjoy!

 

 

  • Genting Highlands ?It is only fifty kilometers (less than an hour) from Kuala Lumpur and is the most developed hill resort in Malaysia. It offers a cool respite from the hustle and bustle of the city capital. Genting Highlands is an entertainment city providing various activities, including outdoor and indoor theme park, casino and other facilities .

  • Theme Parks -There is a wide selection of outdoor and indoor theme parks. The outdoor theme park features more than 20 classic rides suitable for the entire family, such as the double loop Corkscrew, Rolling Thunder Mine Train, Cyclone, Solero Shot and Flying Dragon. The sparkling, new First World Plaza indoor theme park is the home for six theme areas from around the world, each featuring unique rides. The First World Plaza also boasts the Genting Sky Venture, the only free fall skydiving simulator in Asia.

Day 3 (3rd July 2009)

We will leave Genting Highlands after breakfast and head towards Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

 

Note :

  • We need a minimum of 10 participants to carry out the post-symposium tour.
  • The post-symposium tour is open to all international and Malaysian participants.
  • At the end of the post-symposium tour, we can help you arrange for your transport to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT) or even back to Penang International Airport.
